After two months of ostracized isolation, Hawkstone and Riverdale finally get a new case: Anne Atwood, niece of the ostentatious Sir William Wayland, has gone missing! The boys, it seems, have a kidnapping to solve!
Unfortunately, in the detective biz things are often not at all as they seem– as the mystery draws the gargoyles to a remote out-of-town location on the hunt for a missing miss who may not be as “missing” as it appears!

Riverdale and Hawkstone are two brothers who run a detective agency. There’s just one problem: They aren’t human. They’re Gargoyles, and their way of exploring humanity is by solving mysteries for humans for a fee.
A murder at a museum leads them to encounter a mysterious mage named Punch, who joins their investigation only to have them find that a mystical book stolen from the museum could bring about the end of the world!
No big deal, right? All in a day’s work for the Twilight Detective Agency!
