PANEL ONE: BRANDON sends snakes after Carter.

BRANDON:
You’re a bad man!

PANEL TWO: BAXTER takes advantage of BLISS’s distraction and sends his spirits to attack BLISS.

BAXTER:
GrrrARR! TAKE HIM!

PANEL THREE: Baxter’s spirits encircle BLISS’ neck and fill his mouth, stopping his ability to speak. It’s a terrifying invasion of his body which only underscores that he is not human, making him look distorted and alien.

BLISS:
{guk}

PANEL FOUR: CARTER reads the spell off the mirror as Tommy looks desperately at him.

CARTER:
Laveaux...de bois...chalotte...

PANEL FIVE: Brandon screams, black ink begins to erupt from his eyes and mouth-- it’s his dark soul trying to escape. It’s horrific and gross.
