PANEL TWO: RICHIE answers while buttoning up his shirt.

RICHIE:
Hello? Oh, hey Eddie. Uh…not tonight, okay man? I got a lot of…stuff to do.

RICHIE:
Yeah, sure, check ya later. See ya.

PANEL THREE: RICHIE hangs up, wiping his forehead nervously.

RICHIE:
Why am I so freaked out? I should have just told him I had plans.

PANEL FOUR: RICHIE looks down at his phone again.

SFX:
Bzz! Bzz!

RICHIE:
And now Kelly’s texting.

PANEL FIVE: Richie texting. In the air beside him are text bubbles between he and Kelly LEAVE ROOM FOR TEXT BUBBLES PLEASE

KELLY:
Hey, wanna watch a movie together?

RICHIE:
Can’t. Going out with some friends.

PANEL SIX: RICHIE backspace deletes the text.

RICHIE:
Can’t G|

RICHIE:
Can’t. Got a lot of stuff to do. See you tomorrow?
