It’s interesting that you guys decided to go with such a traditional underlying connection between Diaperman and Spanker. While I wondered about it as a narrative choice when I first read it, reading Spanker’s solo issue really did give this reveal a lot more depth and context. It really does help the reader see that Spanker views himself as the hero of his own story. Also, FLUMP is the best sound effect in comics ever, no contest. Lastly, Diaperman and Spanker are looking good in that last panel, their facial expressions are definitely on point.
