PANEL ONE: KELLY finishes texting RICHIE, who responds. Text balloons floating in the air still.

KELLY:
You got it! G’night!

RICHIE:
Night.

PANEL TWO: RICHIE sits down on his bed with his head in his hands. TAFFY nuzzles him comfortingly.

RICHIE:
What is wrong with me?

PANEL THREE: The doorbell rings. TAFFY barks. RICHIE calls to his aunt that he’s on his way.

SFX:
BING BONG

TAFFY:
BARK WOOF!

AUNT CAROL (off panel):
RICHIE! The door’s for you!

RICHIE:
Be right there!

PANEL FOUR: RICHIE arrives at the front door, and REGINA, DEBRA and DEWAYNE are standing there. JAMIE is noticeably absent.
RICHIE:
Uh– hey guys.

AUNT CAROL:
Richie, won’t you introduce us?

PANEL FIVE: RICHIE blushes. DEWAYNE has realized that RICHIE’s aunt and uncle don’t know shit about him and is grinning smugly at RICHIE’s nervousness.

RICHIE:
Oh! Uh, yeah. Aunt Carol, Uncle Jim, this is Regina, Debra and DeWayne.

PANEL SIX: AUNT CAROL realizes they’re all superheroes and gasps a bit as she realizes. RICHIE tries to be diplomatic about their secret identities.

AUNT CAROL:
And how do you know Richie?

RICHIE:
From…um.. “After school.” You know?

AUNT CAROL:
Oh my goodness!
