RICHIE:

PANEL TWO: RICHIE at his locker, arms full of books, EDDIE and KELLY keeping people from bothering him. Word balloons float above and in the background to indicate that he can’t walk through the halls without people recognizing him.

CROWD:
Hey Richie!
Hey lightbulb!
Hi, glowbug!
Hey! What’s it like?
Can you fly?

RICHIE:
…for the crowd control.

PANEL THREE: (wide panel) RICHIE puts the huge pile of homework into his locker. EDDIE grins at him, while KELLY holds back the crowd.

EDDIE:
It’s the price of celebrity!

KELLY:
Sorry, he’s by appointment only!

PANEL FOUR: RICHIE ruefully closes his locker, glancing at the people in the background. EDDIE has his arm protectively around RICHIE’s shoulder.

RICHIE:
I have concerns about this.

EDDIE:
What, about the whole “secret identity” thing?

PANEL FIVE: KELLY explains patiently.

KELLY:
Richie, you lit up in front of a whole class!
Can’t put that genie back in the bottle, honey.
