Seeing Doctor Lazarus presenting Michael in his civilian outfit makes me wish we got a classic 80’s fashion montage, where the character appears in a bunch of wacky outfits while their friends shake their heads and give thumbs down until they finally pick the right outfit, earning a thumbs up and a nod. Ah well, a guy can dream. Harry and Mercy look cute here, definitely more on the cartoony side compared to their earlier designs, although I didn’t realize how short Doctor Lazarus was initially depicted. He’s average-sized in later depictions, but here he’s borderline a little person. That might have been an interesting characteristic to give him, as it would help feature some body diversity in the series.
