It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

PANEL ONE: RIV and ROARK are buying back to school supplies! Roark is carrying a shopping basket, Riv is checking out the shelves.

RIV:
Pens, notebooks, binders…I love back to school shopping!

ROARK:
Back to school?

PANEL TWO: RIV explains while loading up ROARK’s basket with Elmer’s glue, pencil cases, duotangs, loose leaf paper, etc.

RIV:
Every September, classes start again at school. Shopping for supplies is part of the tradition!

ROARK:

PANEL THREE: RIV emotes in rainbows and hearts that fill the panel, stars or hearts in his eyes.

RIV:
I love that new paper smell! Fresh erasers! Pencil crayons! Post-it notes!

PANEL FOUR: Sherri, at her desk in the office, greets RIV and ROARK suspiciously.

SHERRI:
Did you get the office supplies I asked for?

RIV:
…office supplies?

I really, really love back to school shopping season, even all these years later. I may have some sort of stationery fetish!
