Jody Baxter is the good ol' boy mechanic in Gloaming. Always cheerful and ready to lend a hand, he is also a werewolf who defends the good townsfolk from things that go bump in the dark.

Templar was all set to debut as a super-villain when Thunder disrupted his "big entrance."  Templar has since declared Thunder to be his nemesis, although Thunder views him as little more than an annoyance.

Roark is a huge Gargoyle who has been living in an attic alone for many years. New to the modern world, he joins Riverdale at the Twilight Detective Agency at the behest of his mistress, Anne Atwood, herself the secret patron of the Agency.
