Spectrum, aka Richie Sorensen, is an innocent young man who was just getting ready to come out as gay when he developed superpowers! Now his life is being pulled in many directions--home, friends, and the government--and it seems he's playing a game of catch-up while trying to decide on his identity.

Veronica Tiberius Bancroft rebelled against her repressive, isolationist gargoyle society by haunting the streets of nearby Prague. After being caught and sentenced to death by her people, she and her quarter-sister Maeve travel the world, seeking a way to rescue them from their captivity.

Max is the creepy man-child who lives alone with his mother in the town of Gloaming. He seems to have taken a shine to Doug Carter, which makes things quite awkward for our journalist. Max is a real mama's boy, though one wonders who's really in charge of whom in that house...

Templar was all set to debut as a super-villain when Thunder disrupted his "big entrance."  Templar has since declared Thunder to be his nemesis, although Thunder views him as little more than an annoyance.

Code Monkey, aka Glenn Malone, is a simple guy with a big warm fuzzy secret heart.  He is Thunder's #1 fan after the hero talked him down from becoming a villain! He discovers Thunder's true identity and now is his roommate and bestest friend.
