PANEL ONE: While DYLAN is still looking at his hands, NAN takes the bowl and hands him a broom.

NAN:
All done. Now: let’s see how handy you are with a broom. Magic certainly makes a mess!

PANEL TWO: The glow fades, and DYLAN grips the broom, smiling at the promise of berries and cream.

NAN:
And then we’ll have blackberries and cream!

PANEL THREE: A splash panel of DYLAN sweeping the floor, while NAN prepares bowls of berries in the background.

NARR:
My grandmother taught me a lot, and helped me with my first ghost. I’ll never forget her kindness, or the day we did magic together for the first time.

PANEL FOUR: We pan away from DYLAN and NAN to a tall cupboard in the corner. One door is open. It is dark inside.

PANEL FIVE: We zoom in closer on the dark part of the cupboard. We can see a wispy, transparent figure– MELISSA– in the blackness. She is smiling and watching DYLAN.
