PAGE TWO

PANEL ONE: A souvenir shop on the main street. In front is a family of three, and all are wearing touristy Witch hats. The child is eating an ice cream cone, and the father is looking at a tourist brochure. The shop is called “WITCH WAY.”

NARR:
Today, it’s a touristy vacation spot; folks come from away to visit us; we’re basically Canada’s Salem– except without the nasty witch trials in our history.

PANEL TWO: Neighbours in their front yards, chatting with each other, while in the background, two older neighbours yell at each other
NARR:
It’s a great community– everyone knows each other, is neighbourly and gets along–well, for the most part.

PANEL THREE: DYLAN’S house, overlooking the ocean.

NARR:
And being on an island, we’ve got a great sense of home, and amazing ocean views; it’s our own little slice of paradise right here on earth.

PANEL FOUR: DYLAN leaning on his porch railing, looking out at the sea, wind in his hair.

NARR:
And, although this is something we tell the tourists, we know it to be true:

PANEL FIVE: DYLAN is looking into his palm, where little magic sparks dance and light up his face.

NARR:
Magic is real.
