PANEL ONE: DYLAN puts his face on a level with the Gremlin, but out of arm’s reach.

DYLAN:
Now let’s have a chat, you’n’I.

PANEL TWO: DYLAN holds up two fingers to illustrate what he’s saying. The GREMLIN is curious and paying attention.

DYLAN:
I can’t have you running around trashing my friend’s place, So, the way I see it, we’ve got two options:

PANEL THREE: DYLAN reaches into his jacket pocket again. The GREMLIN watches curiously.

DYLAN:
You can either promise to leave Mr. Duggan alone, or…

PANEL FOUR: DYLAN withdraws a black iron nail, which makes the GREMLIN’s ears go up and its eyes go wide with fear. DYLAN looks seriously at the GREMLIN.
DYLAN:
I can bind you to this cold iron nail.

GREMLIN:
YEEK!

PANEL FIVE: The GREMLIN sighs and holds up a hand as if swearing the truth.

GREMLIN:
Yeek yeek.

PANEL SIX: DYLAN looks inspired as he takes out the box SANDRA gave him.

DYLAN (narr):
It’s then that I remember Sandra’s gift, and now I know what it’s for.
