“The Horror...the Horror!”

PANEL ONE: KYLE and MICHAEL are seated together, working on GLOAMING.

MICHAEL:
The thing I love about writing Horror with you is how inspiring you can be!

KYLE:
It’s pretty easy when you grow up with a steady diet of horror like I did!

PANEL TWO: MICHAEL waxes eloquent, as Kyle keeps drawing.

MICHAEL:
No, I mean, I go to what I think is a dark place, but you find a way to make it darker!

PANEL THREE: KYLE picks up his tablet and shows it to MICHAEL.

KYLE:
This dark enough for you?

MICHAEL:
Gloaming wouldn’t be the same without…huh?

PANEL FOUR: MICHAEL screams like a banshee as his face melts. KYLE looks dubious.

MICHAEL:
SKREEEEE

KYLE:
No, you’re right. It needs something more.
