   I’m so bummed this is the last page we see the engineering duo in the comic. There is so much potential for these two, whether it be with Doc Lazarus down the road or just quick gags. Hopefully these two will show up again. I’m also digging that this was the first page to reveal Spanker’s goal of recruiting Diaperman to be his ally. Their very conversation here underscores their differing ideals, where Diaperman would never compromise his values to aid an agenda he doesn’t completely support, while Spanker presents a much more nuanced perspective, where even his enemy can have value in furthering his goals.
