EPISODE THREE: MARCH 2025: Floor Manager

PANEL ONE: MICHAEL is laying face down on the floor. KYLE asks what he’s doing down there. ROARK is in the background with a broom, sweeping the break room floor.

KYLE:
Michael, what are you doing on the floor?

MICHAEL:
Out of spoons. Can’t even. Meeeeh.

PANEL TWO: KYLE grabs XANTHUS and points to MICHAEL.

KYLE:
Hey you! I need 10 cc’s of joy, stat!

XANTHUS:
You got it!

PANEL THREE: XANTHUS beams yellow light onto MICHAEL while KYLE gives him a huge Starbucks coffee and speaks admonishingly to him.

KYLE:
Indie comics are NOT for the weak! ABC! Always! Be! Creating!

PANEL FOUR: ROARK lefts MICHAEL up by the belt, so he’s hanging in an upside-down V shape, latte in hand, weakly smiling as ROARK sweeps under him.

MICHAEL:
Thank you…

ROARK:
Is only tired because he stay up all night working.

KYLE:
Pussy.
