PAGE THIRTY-ONE

PANEL ONE: CASPER is on his cell phone.

CASPER:
It’s Casper. Get me the Tectonic file.

PANEL TWO: CASPER looks grim.

CASPER:
Operation Milkshake is a go.

PANEL THREE: In REGINA’s car, the group exhales as they drive. REGINA’s focussed on driving, DEBRA looks excited, DEWAYNE looks stunned and RICHIE, in the front passenger seat, looks thoughtfully out his window.

REGINA:
Well, THAT happened.

DEBRA:
Way to stand up to The Man, Richie!

RICHIE:
Well, we need answers.

PANEL FOUR: RICHIE asks questions, DEWAYNE responds.

RICHIE:
What did Trashy mean about going back? Aren’t we allowed to quit if we want?

DEWAYNE:
I mean, it ain’t never come up before now.

PANEL FIVE: DEBRA chimes in. MISS THING responds.

DEBRA:
But it’s true we aren’t allowed to ask too many questions. Just do as we’re told.

MISS THING:
Imagine, saying we’re ‘in trouble’ just for defending ourselves!
