PANEL ONE: splash panel, full-page. In the center of the page, is a kind of rip in the fabric of reality, inside which is darkness and odd shapes. Coming out of the rip are THE HORRORS. One is a liquid-looking skinny creature that seems to be full of strange lights, one is a lumbering hulk with a huge kind of SAC hanging from a large beak, as if it was made to regurgitate the creatures growing inside the sac, and in the center, stepping out, is what looks like a King of some kind...except the entirety of his skull and face are worms. His eyes are dead pits of blackness. He is like a cross between a muscular Knight, an undead (his skin is white and desiccated) and a worm-infested zombie.

NARR:
The Horrors are creatures that had snuck through the fraying Weave, infiltrating our world with their hunger and cruelty.

NARR2:
Nothing prepared us for the abominations that stepped through the rift, and our courage was sorely tested.
