PANEL ONE: DYLAN hangs up the phone, pleased with himself.

NARR:
And that was that. They said thank you to me and they told me to say thank you to Nan, and they hung up.

DYLAN:
It worked, Nan! They said they’ll look into it.

PANEL TWO: NAN gets up from her hair, empty whiskey glass in hand, heading for the kitchen.

NAN:
Good. Now you make sure you get those white flowers and take them to her before the sun gets too high in the sky tomorrow.

DYLAN:
Yes, Nan, I will!

PANEL THREE: Morning sun over NAN’s house.
NARR:
Next morning.

PANEL FOUR: DYLAN is in the back garden, picking some white flowers into a small bouquet.

NARR:
As soon as I finished breakfast, I was out in the back garden gathering flowers.

PANEL FIVE: DYLAN running out the front door of the house, a boy on a mission!

NARR:
I was in a hurry to deliver them to Melissa before the morning wore on.

DYLAN:
‘Bye, Mum! Bye, Nan!
